There will be a shortage of around 307,000 nursing staff in inpatient care in German hospitals and care facilities by 2035. To address the urgent shortage of nurses in hospitals and care facilities in Germany, we can help.
Trained nurses (care workers) are recruited in Namibia and brought to Germany.
Basic training in Namibia lasts a total of 3 years, of which 2 ½ years are studies and one ½ year is practical training at Namibian state hospitals. The Namibian training curriculum has a good international standard and is comparable to that in Germany.
So far, it has been handled in such a way that these potential nurses undergo training (theory & practice) in Germany in the first 12 months and then take the corresponding IHK examination. They are then recognised as German registered nurses.
Depending on how the need is quantified, we would make a pre-selection in advance. We would then present the desired number of nurses to the client by sending the CVs and the necessary qualification certificates. The client would then decide with whom to interview.
We ensure through our office in Windhoek/Namibia that these persons are available at the appointments for the interview and also that the technical requirements are given so that the client can conduct the interview.
Once the client has made a selection, the Namibian nurses sign an employment contract with the client. This states, among other things:
